The Pinerolo collection is a range of highly versatile Corten® steel enclosures
Pinerolo enclosures, made entirely of Corten® steel, are designed to enclose areas such as parking lots, schools, gardens, public parks and dog parks. They also lend themselves well where the cycleway needs to be separated from private property or road overpasses.
Adaptability to various contexts
Pinerolo enclosures fit into a wide variety of contexts thanks to the wide range of panels available:
- to achieve maximum transparency, the panels can be made with electro-welded wire mesh and reinforced by special horizontal folds on the mesh;
- Rectangular mesh grating panels with flat vertical uprights and horizontal rods can be used to increase the strength of the enclosure;
- for simpler and cheaper solutions, the EC WIRE system can be used, with Corten® chain link wire mesh and tubular posts.

The advantages of Corten® steel
Strength and durability
Corten® possesses high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance properties. It is a material that ‘self-protects’ by forming a surface patina that prevents corrosion from spreading and ensures ‘eternal’ durability.
Lower overall costs
Due to its greater mechanical strength, reduced thicknesses can be used, resulting in weight reduction. Corten® also reduces maintenance costs compared to wooden solutions.
Timeless beauty
The oxidative patina gives Corten® a warm and elegant brownish hue, allowing it to harmoniously blend into its surroundings, both in natural settings and in many architectural scenarios.
Environmental Sustainability
Corten® steel can be 100% recycled without losing any of its properties. It makes galvanizing and painting unnecessary, a fact that has a significant environmental impact.
Pinerolo Collection – Success stories
Recreational-social spaces enhanced by Cortensafe solutions
In the municipality of Bussi sul Tirino (PE), multiple models of fences were used to enclose the Red Oak Park and the new bowling alley, for which a pergola was also made to shade its far ends. We discussed the project in depth with Deputy Mayor Paolo Salvatore, who emphasizes Cortensafe’s ability to respond in a tailored manner to the requests received.
For the Red Oak Park in Bussi sul Tirino, about 150 meters of Pinerolo HSC Grid enclosure, 1.60 m high and equipped with 60 x 200 mm electro-welded wire mesh made entirely of Corten® steel, were installed. […] At the far ends of the bowling alley, the three sides were enclosed with a Pinerolo HGC Grid enclosure about two meters high to prevent the bowls from exiting the playing field.
